Day 1: Kigali – Musanze

After a relaxed breakfast at the hotel, meet with your guide to start your Rwanda adventure. Explore the city of Kigali by visiting some historical landmarks like the Kigali Genocide Memorial, the famous hotel Mille Colline, the campaign against the genocide museum and optional visits to different art galleries, and markets like Kimironko.

Enjoy the taste of Rwanda at one of the local restaurants or any of your preferred cuisine as we have many options. Thereafter set off for Volcanoes National Park home to Rwanda’s precious primates (MOUNTAIN GORILLAS). This drive offers opportunities to enjoy the scenic views of the land of a thousand hills and interact with local communities.

Check-in on arrival, dinner at the lodge.

Day 2: Rwanda Mountain Gorilla Trekking – Kigali

Early morning breakfast at the lodge before you depart at 6:30am, a short drive to the park office where allocation for the gorilla groups/briefing takes place. With a maximum of 8 pax in every gorilla group, a lifetime adventure with the gorillas where you spend 1 hour with this magnificent primate species. On return enjoy lunch at the lodge/option to freshen up and set off for Kigali, drop off the airport/hotel.
