Eric Manzi
Wildlife Photographer / Tour Leader/Guide
Eric Manzi, the founder of Wild Wonders Africa, is a seasoned professional photographer and tour leader from Rwanda with extensive experience in guiding tours throughout the East African region.
Eric began his career in guiding and tour leadership in 2010, when he embraced an opportunity with a community-based tourism organization. This pivotal experience laid the foundation for his successful career path.
Fueled by a deep passion for tourism and guiding, Eric has excelled over the past 14 years, expertly leading tours across Rwanda, Uganda, and occasionally in Kenya and Tanzania. His storytelling prowess and photographic expertise highlight his profound love for nature, wildlife, and diverse cultures, contributing to his notable success.
Throughout his career, Eric has further honed his safari leadership skills by undertaking various training courses in Rwanda, Uganda, and Kenya, solidifying his expertise in the field.
Ankunda Shaninah

Dan Mugabo
Tour Leader/Guide
Danny Mugabo is born and raised in Uganda. His guiding journey was an architect inspired by family. With over 3 brothers in the guiding journey for the past 20 years, Danny was always inspired by the amazing yet fun career they had. It was a matter of time and the opportunity to train, lead safaris came along in 2018.
Today Danny is an accredited professional with a guiding experience of 7 years’ operating in Uganda and Rwanda. A very knowledgeable and passionate safari guide with a personable character filled with a great sense of humor-tourists find his keen eye of spotting wildlife in the wilderness a natural charm.
Danny is a top notch team member at Wild Wonders Africa.
Jean Marie
Wildlife Photographer / Tour Leader Guide
Jean Marie, a Rwandan native born and raised in the Northern province of Rwanda, known for its endangered mountain gorillas, boasts a background in hospitality. Throughout his career, Jean Marie has served as a service supervisor in various safari lodges in Rwanda, where he had the opportunity to interact with individuals from diverse cultures and enhance his skills in catering to international travelers. Jean Marie’s innate passion for safari guiding and wildlife photography has always been a driving force in his professional journey.
Having participated in guiding and interpretation courses and accumulated five years of experience leading numerous short and long safaris in Rwanda and Uganda, Jean Marie has gained a profound knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the tourism landscape in East Africa.
As a certified professional safari driver-guide and a self-taught photographer, he upholds a commitment to excellence in his work.
Justine Muberarugo
Tour Leader / Guide
Justine Muberarugo is a nature enthusiast based in Rwanda, where she was born and raised. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in the science of tourism and hospitality management, Justine has cultivated a deep passion for the natural wild and conservation efforts.
In 2016, Justine embarked on her professional journey at Akagera National Park, Rwanda’s renowned savannah and safari park. This experience ignited her love for guiding, leading her to spend six years as a community freelancer safari guide. During this time, she immersed herself in wildlife knowledge and hospitality, undergoing various trainings that honed her skills and positioned her as one of the foremost female driver guides in Rwanda today.
Currently serving as a licensed freelance tour guide in Rwanda, Justine leads tours across Rwanda and Uganda, showcasing her expertise and commitment to conservation. A staunch advocate for community engagement and education as essential tools for conservation, Justine prioritizes these aspects in her work.
