Day 2: Transfer to Jinja– Ziwa
In the morning you will depart from the hotel and head to Jinja where you spot the source of the Nile, and sightseeing around the old town. An adventurous and breath taking experience, later in the afternoon drive to Amuka Lodge home the white rhinos in Uganda. Evening at leisure.

Day 3: Ziwa - Murchison Falls National Park
Early morning after a relaxed breakfast you will go for the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary (Rhino tracking) before you set off to Murchison Falls National Park Late in the afternoon you will do a game drive where we have chances to spot more of the game animals like lions, elephants, giraffes, antelopes, and later the nocturnal species as dawn comes like leopards, hyenas to be able to catch up with early risers like lion, leopard, hyenas and a vast bird life.

Day 4: Full Day Game Drive
In the morning, you will go for a game drive to catch more on what you missed and come back to the lodge for a relaxed lunch. You will leave at 1 PM to catch a boat cruise to the bottom of the Victoria Nile Falls, which may reward you with views of aquatic wildlife such as hippos, and crocodiles as well as a variety of bird species. On return, you will drive back to the lodge for a relaxed evening as you’re game viewing.

Day 5: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic journey to Fort Portal, a beautiful town overlooking the mountains of the moon. Taking the Western scenic route to Kibale National Park, this journey will take you through the Albertine rift found in the Western arm of Great East African rift valley. Reaching Fort Portal early evening, relax and refresh at the Lodge. Time allowing, we can go for a scenic view for the craters.

Day 6: Chimpanzee trekking
An early morning breakfast and drive to the park headquarters for the chimpanzee pre-tracking briefing by the park guide, you will then enter the forest to trek the chimps. You may be lucky to see more other primates such as the red colobus, black and white colobus and the red-tailed monkey, later in the afternoon enjoy the scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park with stopovers to take some pictures of the beautiful craters. Time allowing a short evening game drive in Kasenyi.

Day 7: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and afternoon boat cruise
Early in the morning after a quick or a packed breakfast you will leave for an early game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park and return back to the lodge later in time for lunch before the afternoon boat adventure. Later in the afternoon go for a boat trip on the Kazinga channel, to look out for hippos, buffaloes, and elephants down by the channel to quench their thirsty and antelopes and a variety of bird species at the shores. Evening at leisure with an optional short game drive.

Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi National Park for the tree climbing lions
Early morning, you will set off to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Ruhija Sector) passing through Ishasha sector where you may spot the tree-climbing lions. Proceed to Bwindi National Park, reaching in the evening.

Day 9: Gorilla trekking
Early in the morning after breakfast you will be driven to the park headquarters for briefing by a ranger guide and later enter the forest for your gorilla tracking adventure. (about an hour’s drive). You will stay with the gorillas for a maximum of one hour once you catch up with them. On return, you will go for an afternoon nature walk in the neighboring local village. Evening at leisure.

Day 10: Transfer to Rwanda (Lake Kivu)
Breakfast at leisure and transfer to Rwanda via Cyanika boarder. Head to Gisenyi, have a city tour to the boarder with Congo. Afternoon at leisure with an optional sunset boat cruise on Lake Kivu.
Dinner and overnight: Paradise Malahide Resort.
Day 11: Transfer to Musanze.
A relaxed morning boat cruise on Lake Kivu to the hot springs and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Later head to Musanze.

Day 12: Transfer to KIGALI. (Optional Golden monkey trek)
A relaxed morning boat cruise on Lake Kivu to the hot springs and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Lunch at the hotel and drive to Kigali in the afternoon. Check in later at your hotel for the night.

Day 13: City tour
Learn more about Kigali, Tristan can visit the memorial museum. Visits to a few markets and sightseeing. Lunch at a local restaurant for an adventure, evening at leisure.

Day 14: Transfer/Departure
Optional visits at the different markets and exploring more of the city before you depart for your flight.
