Day 1: Arusha – Serengeti National Park (North Kogatende)
On arrival in Arusha or after breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your driver guide and great you with a special warm welcomed, followed by a drive to Serengeti National Park’s Kogatende area.
Serengeti National Park is well known for its high concentration of wildlife including the Big Five – lion, leopards, cape buffaloes, elephants and rhinos – the five most prized trophies by hunters and the Great Wildebeest Migration. The Serengeti is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa thanks to the abundance of prey species, more than 3,000 lions live in this ecosystem. The elusive leopards are commonly seen in Serengeti’s Seronera region, the park is also home to around 1,000 African elephants.
When you arrive in the park, you will have picnic lunch and embark on your first game drive in Serengeti looking for various wildlife and the great migration.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park (North Kogatende)
After breakfast at the camp, you will go on a full day game drive in the Serengeti North to see the Great Migration. In the afternoon, you will have lunch either at the camp or a hot packed lunch at a picnic site. You will later return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
The Kogatende Region of Serengeti National Park is the one of the best regions to witness the dramatic wildebeest migration, the region features breathtaking landscapes and diverse fauna. The dramatic great migration experience in Kogatende occurs from July, August, September and October to early November. Millions of wildebeests accompanied by gazelles and zebras can be witnessed as they make their way in search of pastures. The most dramatic highlight of all is the Mara River Crossing, where you will encounter the world’s spectacle but also get a chance to see predators and other mammal species.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park (Kogatende)
Wake up early for a cup of coffee and head to the park for a hot air balloon safari, on this mind-blowing experience you will enjoy aerial views of the Serengeti plains and eye’s view of the wildlife as well as the large herds of the Great Migration.
The balloon safari is concluded with a bush champagne breakfast, later embark on a full day game drive following the Great Migration.
During the game drive, you will be lucky to see the river crossing. There is no district movement as the herds tend to cross back and forth over the river, following the rain and subsequent fresh grass. It is not uncommon to see different herds crossing in different directions on the same day.
Day 4: Departure
After a leisurely breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide and embark on a journey back to Arusha where you will be dropped off either at your hotel or at the airport for your flight back home.
